Hi this was a job I did for my sister and her husband they have two young girls and wanted a play area we did not want to fork out to much as we did not no when they would be moving and was a party for one of the kids so had to get started and finished fast for low cost so we set out looking for wood we could use I.E pallets and free wood they already had part of an old wood frame from there old house that we re used.
Here is the garden before the build.
I started planing and a lot of collecting wood lots and lots of collecting and In the end I built these.
The Bench frame was made from 3by2 and then wooden pallets .
the decking was also made from 3by2 frame and then wooden pallets.
Its only a small area of decking and with inuff cross members 3by2 is fine and strong you can get the 3by2 from the pallets.
The bar is fully made of just pallets I will show you the in side and more pictures on another blog if anyone wants.
The castle and slide are made from and old climbing frame some decking boards ,pallets and scaffolding boards.
